I believe the right way to use escrow is putting the MONEY in escrow. Not the MONEY and the PRODUCT. You put your LR funds into escrows account, then you receive what you supposed bought, and the funds is send to the seller. In this particular case, the seller could send the file to escrow, but imagine if you are buying installs for example? The seller cant send installs to escrow, then escrow send installs to buyer. Is just one way to explain that your think about the escrow service is wrong. If the guy is able to send you the file, before receiving money from escrow, then you check file if all right, you tell escrow to send him the money, theres no sense why you want Ninja to receive the file...
